Roma-Hellas Verona 2-0: Dovbyk e Soulé firmano la quarta vittoria giallorossa

Domenica 28 settembre la Roma di Gian Piero Gasperini ha conquistato la quarta vittoria su cinque in Campionato, battendo l’Hellas Verona per 2-0 allo Stadio Olimpico, con ben 62.334 tifosi presenti, che hanno colorato e sostenuto la squadra.
La partita si è accesa subito, con la rete di Artem Dovbyk all’7’, che ha sbloccato il match.
Nel secondo tempo, dopo una gara intensa e combattuta, è arrivato il sigillo di Matias Soulé al 79’, che ha chiuso definitivamente i conti, regalando al pubblico giallorosso un’esultanza di grande emozione.
Di contro, l’Hellas Verona resta fermo in classifica, scivolando al sedicesimo posto in Serie A.
Gasperini al termine della partita ha così ribadito: “Se i numeri della Roma sono questi in fase difensiva, merito è anche di Svilar, che è una garanzia e dà sicurezza. Indubbiamente fanno piacere questi risultati. Stiamo inserendo giocatori come Ziółkowski, che rappresentano il futuro. Avremo bisogno di tutti, soprattutto quando giocheremo tre partite a settimana…”.
Artem Dovbyk ha, invece, sottolineato: “Il gol è sempre importante, per me e per la squadra. Io e Ferguson siamo diversi ma uguali: entrambi vogliamo aiutare la Roma. Gasperini è il nostro insegnante, da lui dobbiamo imparare, allenamento dopo allenamento…”.
Soulé, autore del secondo gol ha, infine, dichiarato: “Sono molto contento, partite così vanno vinte per forza. Noi attaccanti dobbiamo essere i primi a difendere e a pressare, solo così arrivano i risultati…”.
Tra i protagonisti indiscussi del match vi è anche Zeki Çelik, premiato come “Man of the Match“: “Sono molto felice. I compagni mi hanno travolto di abbracci, è stata una giornata speciale…”.
Una partita resa ancora più indimenticabile dalla presenza sugli spalti dall’attore e regista Mel Gibson, accolto con entusiasmo dal pubblico: “Un idolo della mia generazione...”, afferma Gasperini.
L’Olimpico si è ancora una volta confermato, grazie all’impegno dell’A.S. Roma, luogo altamente inclusivo: il 28 settembre, infatti, in occasione della Giornata Mondiale del Sordo, il Club ha ribadito il proprio impegno per il riconoscimento legale delle Lingue dei Segni Nazionali, garantendo così il pieno rispetto dei diritti umani.
La ricorrenza segna finanche la chiusura dell’International Week of the Deaf: occasione di valore internazionale per promuovere la cultura, l’orgoglio e le tradizioni delle comunità sorde di tutto il mondo, così sensibilizzando i tifosi e l’opinione pubblica.
Con i gol di Dovbyk e Soulé e la solidità di un gruppo che non si arrende mai l’A.S. Roma manda un messaggio chiaro: la Roma è una squadra forte e pronta a lottare fino alla fine.
Ed a concludere la serata, le parole di Mancini, che non ha potuto fare a meno di condividere tutta la sua gioia sui social affermando: “Tre punti importanti, partita tosta da squadra unita! Forza Roma!…”.

On Sunday, September 28th, Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma claimed their fourth out of five wins of the Serie A campaign, defeating Hellas Verona 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico, with 62,334 fans filling the stands with color and passion.
The match lit up immediately, with Artem Dovbyk, in the 7th minute breaking the deadlock.
In the second half, after an intense and hard-fought game, it was Matias Soulé in the 79th minute who sealed the win, sending the giallorossi faithful into celebration with a goal of pure emotion.
With this defeat, Hellas Verona remain stuck in the standings, sliding down to 16th place in Serie A.
At the final whistle, Gasperini emphasized: “If Roma’s defensive numbers are this good, much credit also goes to Svilar, who is a guarantee and gives confidence. Of course, these results are pleasing. We are integrating players like Ziółkowski, who represent the future. We will need everyone, especially when we play three matches a week…”.
Artem Dovbyk added: “A goal is always important, for me and for the team. Ferguson and I are different but also similar: both of us want to help Roma. Gasperini is our teacher, and from him we must learn day after day in training…”.
Matias Soulé, scorer of the second goal, expressed his delight: “I’m very happy, these are matches you simply have to win. We forwards must be the first to defend and press high; only in this way can the results come…”.
Among the standouts was also Zeki Çelik, who was named “Man of the Match”: “I’m very happy. My teammates overwhelmed me with hugs, it was a special day…”.
The evening was made even more unforgettable by the presence in the stands of actor and director Mel Gibson, who was warmly welcomed by the crowd: “An idol of my generation…,” remarked Gasperini.
The Olimpico once again proved, thanks to A.S. Roma’s commitment, to be a truly inclusive place: on September 28th, World Deaf Day, the Club reiterated its dedication to the legal recognition of National Sign Languages, thus ensuring the full respect of human rights.
The occasion also marked the conclusion of the International Week of the Deaf, an event of international significance that promotes the culture, pride, and traditions of deaf communities around the world, while raising awareness among fans and the public.
With goals from Dovbyk and Soulé and the solidity of a group that refuses to give up, A.S. Roma sent a clear message: this is a strong team, ready to fight until the very end.
To close the evening, came the words of Mancini, who shared his joy on social media: “Three important points, a tough game played as a united team! Forza Roma!…”.
